ANNOUNCING A NEW INITIATIVE:

NRITYAGRAM's DANCE INFORMANCE

An Informative Informal Performance. 

This is meant for anyone who may not be able to book a lec-dem or performance at Nrityagram, since that requires payment for a minimum of tenpeople. And for people who have not or may not get a chance to watch a Nrityagram performance in a theatre. 

Come by yourself or in a small group with family and friends, and watch an Odissi Informance, in an intimate studio setting at Nrityagram.

To be held on select Saturdays from 11AM to 12PM (including a Q&A).

Divinity Series- Odissi and Bharatanatyam - September 2014

Divinity Series our endevour to popularize 'artists of excellence' presents a 2 day festival. 

Saturday, 27th September acclaimed Odissi dancers, Surupa Sen and Bijayini Satpathy from Nrityagram, Bangalore. 

Sunday, 28th September, the rising star of Bharatnatyam Lakshmi Parthasarthy Athreya from Chennai is followed by renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty from Kolkatta. O.S. Arun sings the inaugural invocation. 

Treat yourself to a world of excellence and enjoy this 2 day festival presented by Jyotsna Shourie's Dance Society. 

Entry is free and seating is on first come first served basis. All programs start at 6.
